La historia tiene lugar en la Academia Goryokan, un nuevo instituto privado para chicas con un enorme campus pero este instituto tan popular tiene “otra cara”, un lado oscuro. En ella se organiza y entrena la unidad especial Fifth Force que se encarga de proteger el mundo contra entidades sobrenaturales invisibles llamadas Oburi, que están devorando el mundo. El cuerpo estudiantil se encarga de elegir un grupo de cinco chicas para luchar contra estos seres.
